Please follow today's agenda in order.

1.  Vote for 8th grade superlatives!   (Do you know the secret word?)

2.  Give us your opinion!

3.  Submit your answers for your wave calculations worksheet.   Note: The session is timed because you are simply transferring your answers from paper to screen.  It is also open only in the first half of class.  Click here to turn in your answers.

4.  Quiz - Wave properties. (If you were absent, please come in during lunch/recess on Monday, 11/28 to do this quiz.)

5.  Gizmo Work Day:  Longitudinal Waves

   a.  Complete the EXPLORATION GUIDE.  (This is a PDF.  If you want Word instead, click here.)

        NOTE:  There are several times when you are asked to "draw" on the graph or diagram.  Remember that you can use the camera icon to copy something from a Gizmo.  I suggest pasting it in Paint, drawing on it with the Paint tools, and then pasting your finished image into your Exploration Guide.  Of course, there is always the old fashioned method of sketching everything in your notebook.

   b.  Take the five-question assessment at the bottom of the Gizmo only after you've finished and understand the Exploration Guide.  We will come to the computer lab on 11/30 to turn in your EG and to give you time to answer the five questions under the Gizmo.
