You will be given the opportunity to earn your first grade by answering a few questions about science procedures and safety rules.  You have nearly two weeks, so you should be able to earn a perfect score!  (Do you want to read the procedures and safety contract again?)   

You do not have to print anything out or physically hand anything in.  I will receive your results electronically.  Good luck!

1.  Print this page or keep it open while the working so you can come back to these directions.  However, read ALL of these instructions (yes, all the way to the bottom) BEFORE actually beginning.  This is a good habit to form!

2.  Click on the link for your class to open the Quia session with the questions you are to answer.  

3.  When you are asked to key in your name, please use the name you prefer to be called. 

                        This should be YOUR name, NOT your parents' names.

4.  Question #1 is for your parents.  Call them to the computer to answer question #1only after you have shared the procedures with them.  When they finish with question # 1, the remaining session is intended for you.

5.  When you have answered all of the questions, scroll to the bottom and click "submit answers."   If you answered everything correctly, the computer will tell you that you have an 8 out of 9 or 89%.   The last point will come after I "grade" question #1.  When I go in and see if your parents signed these procedures, I will add the last point which will give you a 9 out of 9, or 100%.  I will not be doing this until after the 8/25 deadline.
