GOAL: Complete Semester Exam
You will have both of these class periods to use for your exam, but you will probably also work have to work on your exam out of class to have it finished in time.
DUE: Your completed exam must be in your class Box by 7:00 AM on Thursday, January 7.
Tuesday: COMPLETE your text today! Go through the list of concepts and type/write what each concept means. Use your OWN words. After you have written the meanings, go through your notebook and CHECK your work!! Remember, this is the MOST important part of the exam counting for approximately 2/3 of the grade. If you do not finish the text in class today, finish it for homework.
NOTE: * = You must do at least ONE of the starred items on the list of concepts.
Save today's work on your flash drive. If you don't have a flash drive, save it to "My Documents" on the computer you are using. Then open your class Box and upload it to the correct folder. Be sure the file name you use is unique. For example, I might name my file sauer, jennifer - semester exam. Since there are no other Jennifer Sauers at Rollings, no one else will be using that file name.
Wednesday:
Go through the pictures you have taken. Which can you use to illustrate each concept? These physical science principles are in application EVERYWHERE around you so there are literally thousands of things you can use as your image for each one.
Add a relevant photograph to each concept and explain how it applies.
Re-read the explanations you have for each concept. Are they brief but correct? [Remember, I prefer to be impressed with as few words as possible. ;0)]
PROOFREAD. Spelling, grammar, mechanics issues will cost you!
Save your work and upload the final product to the class Box by 7:00 AM tomorrow. You will selected to present in random order on Thursday and Friday.
