October 30, 2009 -  Class Instructions

What you don't finish in class is homework.  (You may have to create a trial account for BrainPop to finish.)

Today will mostly be a review of our recently learned content, however some of the information will be new.

1.  Using the BrainPop service, (rmsa, knights) complete the steps below.

    a.  View the listed titles.

    b.  Take notes on anything new or that you don't already have firmly planted in your cranium.

    c.  Using your notes, take the quiz at the end of the episode.

    d.  PRINT your results.  

    e.  Make sure your name is on the print out, and turn it in.

2.  Explore Learning  (Your login information is SUPPOSED to be written in your agenda on your birthday or the December calendar).

    a.  Carefully complete the Exploration Guide for Roller Coaster Physics.  Remember, this is the same thing as following a procedure for an in-class lab.

    b.  Check your answers for the Exploration Guide.  If you are ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN you understand how to use the Gizmo, move to step C.  If you are NOT sure you understand, redo the parts you got wrong, and ask me about them next week.

    c.  Ready?  When you've carefully gone over the Exploration Guide and answers, complete and submit the five questions at the bottom of the Gizmo.  Final day to submit is November 10 no later than 5 PM.
