• Your test is on Friday.  You should be reviewing EVERY night.  
• Today you will use the abbreviated class period for study and review.   These opportunities do not cover everything that is in your notebook so don't neglect the actual content on which we've taken notes.  Your notebook should always be considered the most important resource for studying.
• Don't forget to come tomorrow with your idea of what is the ultimate cause of the decline in the stellar sea lion population.

Review Part One: Measurement - International Standard (a.k.a metric)

• This activity has all the terms and definitions you should know about measurement (and even more! - if we didn't discuss it at some point in class, it will not be tested, but you should still know it).   There are 49 terms so you can do the activity multiple times and get new words.

• Rags to Riches  

• Measurement  (This isn't a very attractive page,  but if you click on a topic, it gives you access to timed practice converting from one unit to another.)

• Explore Learning (search for and do "Triple Beam Balance" or "Volume" activity)  Have you created an account for this year?  If not, these are the steps you'll need to follow.

Review Part Two:  Scientific Method & Process Skills Review

Review Part Three:  BrainPOPs - You will need headphones.   (BrianPOPs are not available after 5 PM unless you create your own trial account.)

   a.  Sign in, and then click the category "science."

   b.  Select Scientific Inquiry.

   c.  View and take the "Graded Quiz" for each of the following titles:  Scientific Method, Science Projects, Measuring Matter, Precision and Accuracy.  If you make less than an 80% on any of the tests, you need to view the episode again and take notes.
