Lab 5 - Heel-Toe Shuffle

TO: participate in a timed race and compute average speed.  To distinguish between average speed and constant speed.

(My apologies for the lop-sided image.  I had a student volunteer scan these for me, but I didn't know they were crooked until long after she left.)

REMINDERS: 

• Do not give me simple "yes"/"no" answers.  JUSTIFY your opinion.
• Too often for question #3 notebooks are turned in with something like, "constant speed is going the same speed...."  Do not define a word with itself.  You must use the two components of speed to define average speed and constant speed.

If you did not get this turned in before the deadline, it is still important that you CHECK your WORK! Carefully compare yours to a classmate who is finished and had their lab approved.
