Please complete today's agenda in order.

IMPORTANT:  If you expect to be pulled out of class early for a medical appointment or for your IGP, see me BEFORE taking your test!!

1)  Earth's Processes Test  - This is a long test, so we will begin within five minutes.  While waiting for the secret word, you may review.  You can also use that time to decide which of the two assessment options you would prefer (see below).  Regardless of which option you select, you will have only this class period to work.  

     a)  You can take the traditional assessment -  Earth's Processes Test - or

     b)  You can take an alternative assessment by demonstrating all of our content through drawing.  If you are interested in this method, come see me so that you can get the instructions, paper, and colored pencils.  

2) If you have time left, you can take the pretest for our next unit.  You will need a red handout from my table.

3) You finished both?  Wow!  If you still have time left in class, you may do work for another teacher, or get a jump start on next week's content by viewing the BrainPops titled "Crystals," "Mineral Identification," "Types of Rocks," and "Rock Cycle."  You do not have to take notes today, but it would certainly be a good idea if you did!  You just saw the pre-test;  anything you learn in the BrainPop that would have been useful for answering the questions should be written down!
