Under no circumstances does any part of today's lesson require you to speak to your neighbor.  Do not give your guest teacher any reason to tell me that you were non-compliant.  Fourth period, remember our specific discussion about this.

1.  Have you recorded your homework?

2.  Complete yesterday's lesson if you did not finish the eChalk "Forces" tutorial.

3.  When you are finished, using the correct Quia session, turn in your exploration guide answers.  Do NOT try to do this until you are finished with the actual exploration guide!  You may think you are saving yourself time, but in the end, you will end up with a low grade because you will be skipping important parts of the exploration guide.  This is meant for YOU to learn from, to practice with your knowledge of the laws, and to prepare for your final.  When you take short cuts, you are cheating only yourself.  

If you do not finish within the class period, then you can come see me at the start of lunch on Wednesday or stay after school on Wednesday to submit your answers. (The majority of you will finish in class today.)

4.  If you have any time left in class, you may:

     a)  use ExploreLearning (see extra credit details below),

     b)  use any of the modules in any subject area of eChalk, or 

    c)  do work for another class that does not require the Internet, or

    d)  quietly read a book. 

You may NOT visit any other website!!  If you do, you will be given a detention.  (Wear headphones for any module of eChalk that has sound.)

ExploreLearning Extra Credit Details

There are two Gizmos that we will not be assigned as a requirement; however, they are relevant to our studies, so you can do one or both of them for extra credit.

Both of these will be due on 11/11/11.  Please do not submit your work for these if you don't want it to be graded!  I do not have the time to decide which work that is turned in should be grade and which should not.  It would be a good idea to do the Exploration Guide(s) first, and then, based on your feeling about how well you understand the concepts, decide if you will turn in the work electronically on 11/11/11.
